Who it is for
Over 60s Singles is for people aged 60 and over who would like company, romance or a relationship with someone at a similar stage of life. Some readers are widowed, some divorced, some have been single for years and have decided it is time.
Life after 60 is rarely empty: grandchildren, volunteering, the allotment, the choir. The question is usually how someone new might fit into all that, not how to start from scratch, and the guides here are written with that in mind.
Most visitors are in the UK, so the guides use British phone numbers, places and organisations. Members also join from the US, Canada and Australia, and the safety guide gives reporting lines for those countries too.
Sections for particular readers
Alongside the main site there are two sections for people with particular questions:
- Christian dating over 60, for those who want faith at the centre of a relationship, with guides on meeting through church and remarrying later in life.
- Dating in your seventies and beyond, for a stage of life most dating advice ignores.
A section for gay, lesbian, bi and trans people over 60 is written but not yet published. It will open once the members area is confirmed to match people of the same sex.
Who runs it
Over 60s Singles is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515), registered office 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. Membership is governed by the member terms, under Delaware law.
The over60ssingles.com address was registered in March 2009. The website you are reading was rebuilt in October 2026 as a plain information site.
The website and the members area are separate
The site has two parts, and it helps to know which is which:
| Item | This website (over60ssingles.com) | The members area (members.over60ssingles.com) |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Guides, prices and facts about the service | Where you join, build a profile, browse and message |
| Do you need an account? | No | Yes |
| What it collects | No cookies; basic server logs | Your profile, photos and payment details |
| Privacy rules | The website privacy notice | The member privacy policy |
How membership works
Joining, making a profile and browsing are free. Reading and replying to messages needs a paid membership, charged in US dollars. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel under Settings > Billing; to remove your profile, choose your avatar, then Settings > Delete Account. Payments appear under the billing name shown at checkout, so make a note of it when you pay.
The prices page shows the current plans, and the key facts page puts the essentials in one place.
A shared network of profiles
Over 60s Singles is part of a network of dating sites that share one database of members. A shared network means that people who joined through a partner site can see your profile and message you, and you can see and message them. Each profile shows which site the member joined through.
This gives you more people to meet, but it also means your profile is seen beyond this one site. Write it with that in mind, and keep your surname, address and workplace out of it.
What is checked, and what isn't
Every photo is reviewed before it appears. What members write about themselves is not checked.
Members can choose to take an identity check with LEM Verify, using photo ID and a selfie, and display an optional ID badge. Some people are asked to complete it to join, for example if they sign up through a VPN. A badge confirms that someone matches their ID; it says nothing about their honesty or intentions.
Saying this plainly matters more than sounding reassuring. The guide to romance scams explains the warning signs, which are the same on every dating site.
How the guides are written
The guides are practical, dated and sourced. Every phone number, law and figure links to the organisation it comes from, and nothing is invented: no members, stories or statistics. The editorial policy sets out how pages are written and corrected.
Getting in touch
For anything to do with your account, billing or another member, use the help centre. The contact page explains the options, including how to report a mistake on this website.
Questions people ask
Who owns Over 60s Singles?
Over 60s Singles is run by High Intent Media Inc, a Delaware corporation (file no. 10670515) with its registered office at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware. The same company is named in the member terms, which are governed by Delaware law.
Is Over 60s Singles a British company?
No. The site is written mainly for readers in the UK, with British helplines and organisations, but the company that runs it is registered in Delaware in the US. Memberships are charged in US dollars, so your bank may convert the payment and add a fee.
